Тем не менее они не являются высоко амбициозными, а страна по-прежнему рассчитывает на поглощающую способность лесов, параллельно делая акцент на адаптации, технологическом поглощении выбросов и развитии профильных исследований. Российская Федерация очень далека от лидерства в заявленной сфере, потому как любая ее активность остается сильно зависимой от национальных внешнеполитических интересов (в частности, СВО), сохранения высокой доли невозобновляемых ресурсов в национальном экспорте и нацелен- ности на развитие экономически выгодных и логистически удобных транспортных коридоров (СМП).
