Tsirkunov The article looks into the process o f urbanization on the Kola bay coast. The author thinks that the urbanization o f Kola zone is unique in the world. Analyzing the above mentioned process, the author pays attention to the problem o f taphology studying cemeteries as well as burial grounds and processing o f anthropo­ genic or factory wastes storages. 10
