The Dr. Ph. degree has been taken in Institute of Oceanology (Noscow) in 1988. Scientific specialization: ecology of northern krill (Grustacea, Euphausiacea) and chaetognaths (Ghaetognatha) in the northern seas; ecology and distribution of planktonical crustaceans communities of the Arctic Seas. General subjects: populational analysis of northern krill and chaetognaths in the Norwegian, Greenland, Barents and Kara Seas; investigation of size structure of planktonical crustaceans communities in the Arctic Seas.
